My solo show California Textures opens today at Viewpoint Photographic Art Center in Sacramento, and runs through October 4th. You’ll find these 22 prints in the back or “Step Up” Gallery. It’s a nice room.

There are two openings. The first is Saturday, September 13th, from 4 to 7 pm, as part of the monthly "Second Saturday" event throughout downtown. Then there's an Artist Reception on Sunday the 14th, from 1 to 4 pm, and that's loosely for Viewpoint members, family, friends, and even riff-raff like me. So, in other words, everyone. I'm planning to wash two of my best Carhartt T-shirts and be at both openings. Maybe I’ll see you there!

But otherwise, if you’re ever near downtown Sacto on a Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday afternoon during the show’s run, maybe swing by the gallery, cool off, and take a look around…? I worked really hard on these prints!
